Being the beginning and still the top of the cryptocurrency industry, the Bitcoin (BTC) has changed the whole world completely. And so, all credits goes to the mysterious creator of this Bitcoin (BTC), going by the pseudonym ‘Satoshi Nakamoto’. In a respect for honoring the creator Satoshi Nakamoto, whose identity is still a mystery and unknown, a crypto journalist, Andras Gyorfi , one of the founders for this statue project, erected the statue of Satoshi Nakamoto in Budapest. 

The Statue Project

The statue is made of bronze with a human form face. However, with no features not being either a male or a female in respect to the unknown identity of Satoshi Nakamoto. The statue was unveiled in a business park. This is the Graphisoft park in Budapest near the Danube river, with the engraving ‘Satoshi Nakamoto’.

 In addition, the statue features a human form with a hoodie along with the BTC logo.

Accordingly, the major founder of this statue project, being a crypto journalist himself, is Andras Gyorfi. He has collected funds from various BTC enthusiasts in Hungary and the world, amounting to $10,000. Also, all these funds were transferred to Gyorfi through BTC transactions. 

Views of the Project Founder

The unveiling of the statue took place in the Graphisoft park on September 16. Moreover, the founder of this project Andras Gyorfi states that this is a tribute and homage to the BTC creator, Satoshi Nakamoto.

In addition, he adds, whoever he/she Satoshi Nakamoto was, the technology and value behind the BTC is huge and has revolutionized the world. 

Moreover, above all Gyorfi also acknowledges Satoshi Nakamoto as ‘the God of Crypto and blockchain technology’. In addition to this, the sculptors of the statue, Reka Gergely and Tamas Gilly, terms that they faced hell lots of pressures and a big challenge in sculpting up this statue of a person who is completely anonymous.
