In three weeks Cardano (ADA) added more than 50,000 staking addresses that reflect a considerable 8% growth in less than a month. This is according to data provided by a Cardano data aggregation platform, PoolTool.
Moreover, in early June the total number of ADA staking wallets reached 608,391 from 2,561 active pools. This marks another milestone for the platform. Currently, the platform has confirmed 658,965 staking addresses.
Furthermore, Cardano reached its all-time high on May 16. When Cardano reached $2,46 during that time most of the market accomplished a downward trend. Also observed a 49% drop. The Cardano platform’s developer launched a new version of the Cardano node, AonzoBlue 2.0 to the testnet, on June 14.
More so, recently, the proof-of-stake blockchain platform has been at the lead of many current developments. The Cardano creator Charles Hoskinson announced that the platform aims to publish a research paper on algorithmic Stablecoins in the upcoming weeks.
Charles Hoskinson noted,
“We have an amazing algorithmic stablecoin paper coming out in the next few weeks. Unfinished business since the Bitshares days.”
According to Charles Hoskinson, Cardano(ADA) has communicated with authorities and political parties in El Salvador, with the meeting with Nayib Bukele potentially on the horizon. Charles Hoskinson stated, “They’ve expressed interest in digitizing the country and going beyond just legalizing Bitcoin. Do, we’ll get a better sense of it in the next 2-4 weeks”.
