  • The cooperation demonstrates how Arc’s ecosystem can be used to support a new generation of financial apps.
  • In addition to being linked to non-custodial accounts, the virtual Visa cards offered by Pulsar are accessible to citizens of more than 110 countries.

The multi-currency stablecoin app Pulsar Money made the announcement today that it would go live exclusively on Arc, the stablecoin-native Layer-1 blockchain that was developed by Circle. More specifically, it will be one of the first consumer personal finance applications to be built on Arc, which is now in testnet. Pulsar is a multi-currency stablecoin application that is centered on the European market. It has been built on stablecoins that comply with MiCA regulations and partnerships with regulated infrastructure.

In actuality, Pulsar enables users to save digital dollars, euros, and pounds as stablecoins inside a single application, to immediately switch between these currencies at a cost that is almost nothing, and to spend any sum using a Visa card that has reduced foreign exchange fees. The multi-currency swaps between USDC and EURC, which are stablecoins issued by Circle’s regulated affiliates, and supported partner stablecoins for other fiat currencies are anticipated to be powered by StableFX, which is Circle’s institutional-grade stablecoin FX engine.

In addition to being linked to non-custodial accounts, the virtual Visa cards offered by Pulsar are accessible to citizens of more than 110 countries. Swap and yield functions are anticipated to be added in the near future. Agentic payments are also on the roadmap. This refers to the process of delegating normal monetary operations to an artificial intelligence agent. For instance, the user might have the agent convert euros to dollars when the exchange rate shifts in their favor, or pay a recurring charge from whatever balance is the least expensive.

The cooperation demonstrates how Arc’s ecosystem can be used to support a new generation of financial apps. These applications will integrate stablecoin rails, AI-enabled execution, and access to onchain financial tools via a simplified interface. For Arc, Pulsar is a consumer application that was developed to demonstrate how agent-grade infrastructure transitions from the capabilities of protocols to the usability of ordinary financial transactions.

“Over the past months, we’ve been building Pulsar in close collaboration with a wider group of leading financial infrastructure teams to integrate with Arc,” said Alex Radu, CEO of Pulsar Money. “That work has shaped the product we’re proud to bring to market: a consumer money app built around stablecoin payments, intelligent financial execution, and access to new onchain financial primitives. Building on Arc gives us the strategic foundation to push toward our mission of making money more efficient, more rewarding, and more personal.”

There is currently a waitlist open now for early access.

Powered by Circle’s StableFX, Pulsar Money provides residents of more than 130 countries with the ability to keep and exchange USDC and EURC with little to no costs. Additionally, it provides virtual Visa cards to those individuals. Pulsar is scheduled to debut on Arc, which is a stablecoin-native Layer-1 that was built by Circle.
