- Bistroo is the world’s first cryptocurrency & blockchain-based food ordering platform.
- Bistroo has already been working hard to enable payments with its native BIST token.
- Bistroo temporarily doesn’t charge commission on all crypto payments.
Bistroo, the blockchain-based peer-to-peer food ecosystem, is pleased to announce that entrepreneurs may now take money in numerous cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Binance Coin (BNB). This move significantly expands the network’s existing payment choices, including fiat cash and the network’s native BIST cryptocurrency. It also establishes Bistro as the world’s first food order network to integrate cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
Bistroo has already been hard at work to allow payments using its native BIST token, including successful financing of more than $8 million in May. Token holders may now purchase BIST at any one of Coinpayments’ 100,000 merchants in over 200 countries worldwide, thanks to cooperation with Coinpayments.
However, Bistroo is now expanding the relationship and solidifying its support for cryptocurrency growth by letting clients pay in one of five leading cryptocurrencies – BTC, ETH, BNB, LTC, and BCH. To encourage the use of cryptocurrency, Bistroo is temporarily not charging a commission on any crypto payments. This offers businesses a more significant portion of their returns, while consumers receive a reduction on their orders. When users opt to purchase with the product’s native BIST Token, the removal is even greater.
“Bistroo is on a journey to build ourselves upon the world stage using our business model,” stated Bas Roos, CEO and co-founder of Bistroo, of the company’s entry into cryptocurrency payments. The future is evolving toward a protocol economy in which parties may engage directly with one another. Bistroo is taking the first steps in the right direction by providing a better value proposition for the meal ordering platform industry. Allowing our consumers to transact with cryptocurrency is an essential part of that journey.”
Bistroo is a peer-to-peer network for food businesses and clients that enables rather than controls their interaction. According to the live trackers on its website, the initiative started its network in 2020 and has since assisted merchants in reaching over 25,000 consumers and processing over $2.3 million in orders.
Payments, menu setting, orders, promotions, and analysis are all entirely at the merchants’ discretion. They may deal with the clients directly and are paid immediately when an order is placed.
The ultimate objective of Bistro is to become a world leader in PaaS e-commerce technologies for restaurants and other food retailers. Bistroo.com aspires to be the conduit through which restaurants and specialised food stores worldwide may deliver their products directly to the customer for extremely cheap costs, immediate payments, and complete control.
