German Football Association (DFB) goals NFT with Sorare Blockchain News

The German Football Association (DFB) now is all set to enter into the non-fungible tokens (NFT). Sorare, being a platform for fantasy digital soccer, will be the blockchain provider through which DFB will make its non-fungible tokens (NFT). 

The Alliance and Agreement

The sport of football will be incomplete without the acknowledgment of the German Football Association (DFB). The DFB operates as the governing body for german football overall. Also, it’s one of the founding members of FIFA and UEFA. In spite of all this, the DFB announces the release of its very German Football Association (DFB). 

Hence, the DFB will be partnering with Sorare, a digital fantasy soccer gaming platform. The sorare consists of a digital game of soccer completely fantasized. It also consists of digital licensed cards for the game operation. Sorare carries out its complete operation upon the Ethereum blockchain

In spite of this, DFB will create digitized cards of their 18 players who represented Germany in Euro 2020. In addition, these cards are created on the Ethereum blockchain used by Sorare. Also, all this will be through Sorare’s platform. Both parties have officially signed an agreement licensed.  As put forth by Sorare, these NFT cards will be available in the Euro 2020 championship version of their global fantasy football game. 

DFB Comments

The DFB’s managing director of marketing and sales, Holger Blask points out amidst all this covid situation, moving to the digital platform will be the best way to connect with the fans. In addition, Blask states these digital cards as NFTs will enhance their financial situation upon the present covid situation. 

Moreover, he says even if covid gets over, they will continue with this NFT business as it’s altogether promising. In conclusion he points out the fans’ involvement and the partners all will be given an attractive opportunity to interact together and come up with new attributes themselves. 

However, the French Football Federation started the same game even before DFB, introducing digitized player cards as NFTs.
