16% Gain for Arbitrum (ARB): How Far Can This Move Go?

16% Gain for Arbitrum (ARB): How Far Can This Move Go? Altcoin News
  • With a 16% rise, Arbitrum is currently trading at $0.15.
  • The long-term ARB momentum has turned positive.

As of 16th Sept., Arbitrum (ARB) is trading within the $0.1547 range, up by over 16.2%, with its volume reaching $530.9 million. The 24-hour session has ranged between $0.1328 and $0.159, and that upper end is where the structure gets complicated. Moreover, the seven-day range falls between $0.1316 and $0.1721.

On the other hand, Standard Chartered has put a $10 price target on the asset by the end of 2030, a 70x move from current levels. ARB is pressing into a rising wedge. The momentum is strong but tightening, and a breakdown below the lower trendline would set the crucial downside target.

Zooming in on the four-hour price pattern, the recent bullish trading would push the Arbitrum price to a high around the $0.1599 resistance level. If the upside pressure gains more traction, the golden cross might unfold and send the asset’s price to test the $0.1670 range or even higher.

On the flip side, upon the emergence of bearish sentiment within the ARB market, the price might immediately slip to the support at the $0.1482 mark. An extended downside correction could trigger the death cross to take place, and the bulls would drive the price to a low below $0.14.

Is Arbitrum’s Technical Setup Pointing to More Uptrend?

Analysing the technical momentum of Arbitrum, the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) line is above the zero line. But the signal line is below zero; it indicates a transition from a prior downtrend into an emerging uptrend.

The long-term trend momentum has turned positive. The signal line sitting below zero reflects past weakness that has not fully caught up yet. Traders view this dynamic as an early bullish signal, showing that a strong uptrend is building and attempting to pull the entire trend out of negative territory.

Arbitrum’s current market sentiment sits in moderately bullish territory, as the daily Relative Strength Index (RSI) stays at 62.76. This suggests that the buying pressure is outperforming selling momentum, but the market has not yet reached overbought extremes.

This zone reflects healthy, sustainable upward momentum without immediate signs of exhaustion. Traders generally interpret a value in the lows as a sign of constructive market strength. It hints that buyers remain in firm control, leaving room for further upside before momentum becomes overextended.
