While the crypto market continues to fall, data from the WhaleStats crypto data tracker indicates that two significant ETH investors have seized more than $5.2 million in LINK and MATIC tokens. Polygons MATIC and LINK tokens and $1.2 billion worth of SHIB tokens are already owned by the top ETH whales.
According to WhaleStats, two of the most significant 1,000 Ethereum whales have increased their MATIC and LINK holdings in the last 24 hours. A whale has acquired 300,000 Chainlink in the 374th position for $4,061,999. This token currently accounts for 5.24 percent of its entire holdings, totaling $4,826,508. Windows and Twitter tokens make up 46.8 percent and 28.85 percent of his overall crypto wealth, respectively.
SHIB Also Being Acquired
Another significant Ethereum investor has acquired 832,990 MATIC. This is a total of $1,249,485 in fiat. Currently, this cryptocurrency investor holds a 5.63 percent stake in Polygon, which is worth $9,850,613.
Despite their preference for Ethereum, the second most popular cryptocurrency, the top 1,000 ETH whales have also placed considerable capital on meme cryptocurrency SHIB, which some in the crypto industry do not feel to have a high future potential.
According to the WhaleStats website, ETH whales now own $1,277,297,247, or 14.98 percent of their total holdings in ETH. There is $180,041,196 worth of MATIC and $167,300,758 worth of Chainlink held by them in total. LINK is now preferred above SHIB, which sits in third place behind Ethereum and FTX Token in terms of the trading volume.
