Hundreds of millions of dollars worth of XRP are being traded overnight by crypto whales once again. The massive crypto transfer transactions were first spotted by the Whale Alert blockchain monitoring and research tool.
On Friday, Nov. 26, 2021, at about 02:54:30 UTC, Whale Alert reported that the transaction had occurred. However, the XRP has lost 10.03 percent in the last 24 hours. Even on its official Twitter handle, Whale Alert mentioned about the transaction.
“10,000,000 #XRP (10,487,081 USD) transferred from unknown wallet to #Bitstamp” read the tweet.
It is now worth $0.949588 USD, and the 24-hour trading volume has reached $4,322,051,388 USD, according to CoinMarketCap. Created by Ripple, XRP tokens are a fast, cheap, and more scalable alternative to existing digital currencies and conventional monetary payment systems like SWIFT.
Furthermore, the sending whale has 32.369 million XRP remaining in its wallet, along with 12 reserved XRP. A fee accompanied this massive transaction. Ten reserved XRP are now held in the receiving wallet, which totals 10.450M XRP.
