VeChain Partners With OrionOne To Integrate Blockchain Tech
  • On August 15th, the upgraded OrionOne platform with VeChain will be accessible.
  • As an enterprise-ready L1 smart contract platform, VeChain (VET) is versatile.

On Wednesday, OrionOne Inc. and VeChain announced their intention to work together on integrating their respective platforms. The collaboration will hasten the spread of blockchain technology in the logistics sector. The collaboration “allows OrionOne to offer companies a seamless and rapid onboarding ramp to begin utilizing blockchain in their business,” as stated by VeChain.

OrionOne CEO Tommy Stephenson stated:

“When it comes to blockchain and supply chain, there’s only one game in town, and that’s VeChain. No other entity can compete with their low-cost, rapid deployment, and ease of use. We’re excited to integrate their blockchain into our products to bring VeChain to a wider network of clients.”

Companies are seeking ways to use blockchain technology without disrupting operations as the blockchain industry expands. Therefore, OrionOne plans to use blockchain technology in an effort to coordinate company resources across the supply chain. When applied to the logistics industry, blockchain has the potential to improve record keeping, compliance, and dispute management while decreasing costs.

Jason Rockwood, General Manager for VeChain US Inc., said:

“A key barrier to wide blockchain adoption is the application layer that connects infrastructure to specific business problems. OrionOne simplifies the data gathering mechanism and makes the value of blockchain tangible and easy to deploy. This in turn saves corporate clients time and money while staying current with the latest innovations in supply chain technology.”

As of Monday, August 15th, the upgraded OrionOne platform with VeChain will be accessible. As an enterprise-ready L1 smart contract platform, VeChain (VET) is very versatile. Back in 2015, VeChain was a private consortium network that collaborated with several businesses to investigate potential blockchain use cases.
