With the release of Access, the first album from its initial subunit, tripleS has blasted into the vast international K-Pop scene. The first track from the album, “Generation,” by the Seoul-based girl group that combines pop music with blockchain technology has amassed more than 28 million YouTube views in only three weeks since its release.
tripleS is a 24-member K-Pop female group that is separated into subunits. Through a mechanism dubbed “Gravity,” fans may choose the members of the group’s subunits through blockchain-based voting. Acid Angel from Asia, the group’s initial subunit, comprises the vocal prowess of Kim Yoo-yeon, Kim Na-Kyoung, Jeong Hye-rin, and Gong Yu-bin.
On October 28th, AAA released Access, and as of November 21st, it has accrued over 5,500,000 Spotify plays and 28 million total views on YouTube. With their debut, the group topped the US, Mexico, and Turkey iTunes K-Pop Album Charts and reached number nine on the US and Canadian iTunes K-Pop Song Charts. It ranked 74th on the iTunes Worldwide Album Chart.
“Access,” “Rolex,” “Charla,” “Dimension,” “+82,” and “Generation” are among the six tracks on Access. Within the first 24 hours of release, “Generation” received over 1 million views, and within the first seven days, it received 10 million.
Since the release of AAA’s album on October 28, tripleS’s social metrics have exploded as well:

- Twitter followers — from 19K to 51K
- Instagram followers — from 7K to 73K
- TikTok followers — 100K to 705K
The main track from Access, “Generation,” focuses on the increasingly hazy boundary between online and real-life identities, especially for members of a generation that has never known life without the internet. The AAA quartet are shown dancing around the busy streets of Seoul in the music video, which includes groovy imagery of them running away from school. TripleS’ upcoming subunit +(KR)ystal Eyes makes a cameo at the conclusion of the video to tease the group’s upcoming second release.
The open architecture entertainment ecosystem Modhaus is what powers tripleS. In order to encourage blockchain mass acceptance via the wildly popular medium of K-Pop, Modhaus built the blockchain components for the group and continues to collaborate with leading Web3 industry players.
