In simple terms, the total value locked (TVL) indicates the number of assets presently staked in a protocol. Moreover, this value does not indicate the number of outstanding loans; rather, it represents the total amount of underlying supply that is fully secured by a DeFi application.

According to Crypto Dep, the top projects by TVL in Optimism Foundation are nine in total while the value is $458M. Optimism is a low-cost and lightning-fast Layer-2 scaling solution for the Ethereum blockchain. The top projects by TVL are Synthetix, Uniswap, Perpetual, Lyra, Synapse, Stargate, Hop Protocol, ZipSwap, and Curve.

Total Value Locked Is $458 Million

As per the shared data, the top project by TVL is Synthetix where $194M is the Total value locked. The project has a market cap value of $1.07 billion and a trading volume is $84.9 million. The second top project is Uniswap which holds $45.6M as TVL with a market capitalization of $3.44 billion and a $222 million trading volume. 

The following projects are Lyra, Synapse, and  Stargate which are in order according to the TVL. Lyra has $36.6M of TVL, Synapse’s TVL is $35.1M, and Stargate has $34.2M of TVL. Consequently, the market cap values are $19.7M, and $605M respectively while there is no data for Stargate.

However, the following set of projects are Hop Protocol, ZipSwap, and Curve which have TVL of $12.5M, $11.2M, and $10.4M respectively.
