In the final week of May, over $549 million worth of crypto tokens are scheduled to be unlocked. Between May 25 and June 1, major cliff and linear token releases are set to impact supply across several blockchain projects. According to data shared by WuBlockchain, multiple projects will unlock more than $5 million in tokens, triggering potential shifts in the trading environment.
Large Cliff Unlocks Set to Release Bulk Token Volumes
Cliff unlocks introduce tokens to the market all at once, often causing sudden changes in liquidity levels. Among the largest is SUI, which will unlock 44 million tokens worth $157.94 million, equating to 1.32% of its supply. BIO will unlock 339.08 million tokens worth $29.39 million, representing 19.84% of its current circulating supply.
Other projects with notable cliff unlocks include OP, which is releasing 31.34 million tokens valued at $23.18 million, equal to 2.02% of its supply. KMNO is unlocking 229.17 million tokens worth $15.12 million, or 11.58% of supply. ZETA will unlock 44.26 million tokens worth $11.32 million, making up 5.34% of supply.
VENOM plans to unlock 29.26 million tokens worth $6.06 million, or 2.51% of its supply. ALT will release 240.10 million tokens valued at $7.58 million, which is 6.83% of circulation. REZ follows with 423.70 million tokens worth $5.88 million, or 15.82%. DYDX will unlock 8.33 million tokens worth $5.06 million, comprising 1.07% of supply.
Daily Linear Unlocks Add to Supply Pressure
Linear unlocks distribute tokens gradually, though many surpass $1 million in daily value. SOL will release 465,770 tokens worth $81.30 million, making up 0.09% of its circulating supply. WLD will unlock 37.23 million tokens worth $52.49 million, equal to 2.69%.
TAO plans to release 50,400 tokens valued at $21.90 million or 0.59%. DOGE follows closely with a 96.52 million token unlock valued at $21.30 million, equal to 0.06%. TIA will release 6.96 million tokens worth $17.75 million, while AVAX unlocks 700,000 tokens worth $16.30 million.
Other notable releases include SUI, MORPHO, ETHFI, DOT, IP, NEAR, JTO, and FIL, each unlocking between $7 million and $12 million. These releases are expected to increase market liquidity and expand the circulating supply of the named digital assets.
