As per the Hurun Global Rich List, the report marks the emergence of almost 17 popular crypto billionaires in the last year witnessing huge profits. One among them is Changpeng Zhao, the CEO of Binance – the largest and leading cryptocurrency exchange in the world.
Following the rich list, we also have the CEOs of popular crypto exchanges such as FTX and Coinbase. Positioning them in the top 3 list securing the second and third place in the billionaire list.
Crypto Billionaires are on High
As we all know, Binance is one of the best and leading crypto exchanges in the world. It holds millions of active users with a billion trading volume per day. Over recent years, cryptocurrencies are gaining huge response in the public with millions of users trading their favorite tokens. Besides, all crypto users are initially joining the Binance community for safe and secure trading experiences.
Thus, going crazy with digital investments, both the traders and the crypto network owners are earning huge profits till date. In addition, the rise of cryptocurrencies have emerged a lot more billionaires as well. Therefore, Binance being the leading exchange, it increased Zhao’s wealth by $15B in the last one year.
Following Zhao, the CEO of FTX, Sam Bankman-Fried ranks second in the rich list with a wealth of about $21 billion. Interestingly, his wealth just rose around $11 billion in the lucky year of 2021 alone.
Further, the third richest crypto billionaire is the CEO of Coinbase cryptocurrency exchange Brian Armstrong. However, the CEO was positioning in the first place and unfortunately sloped down to third with a net worth of $10 billion.
In addition, the chairman of Reliance Industries Limited, Mukesh Ambani, an Indian is also in the top 10 billionaire list in the world. Notably, his net worth is around $103 billion with a proud remark as the “Richest Man in India” and also in Asia. Surprisingly, Ambani’s wealth profit just spiked into 10X in 20 years jumping from $10 billion in 2002.
