According to reports, Terraport, the newly released Terra Classic DeFi platform created by TerraCVita, has been hacked. On April 10, Terraport Finance stated through a tweet that it had discovered a security hole in the Terraport Liquidity wallet. The group is trying to fix the problem and safeguard the protocol. The team even intends to issue a press release outlining the incident and the security measures adopted.
Terraport was established by the developer team TerraCVita to revitalize the Terra Luna Classic network and increase the LUNC burn rate. Hackers took over 9.5 million TERRA, 15 billion LUNC, and 5.5 million USTC.
The funds have been transferred to MEXC Global and Binance. The team urged Binance and MEXC Global to immediately freeze cryptocurrency assets, including the millions of tokens that have been moved to these exchanges. According to certain sources, MEXC has also stopped accepting deposits for LUNC. The group has persuaded other exchanges to temporarily halt LUNC transactions.
