- The update to Cosmwasm 1.1.0 Parity is scheduled on May 31.
- Surprisingly, Edward Kim, a key developer, helped with the update, too.
Developers at Joint L1 Task Force, working on Terra Classic (LUNC), have updated the rebel-2 testnet to version 2.0.0 with Cosmos SDK version 0.45. The May 31st Cosmwasm v1.1.0 update (parity) will enable projects and builders from Cosmos and Terra Luna 2.0 to once again construct on the Terra Classic chain, therefore this is a huge win for the Terra Classic community. Surprisingly, Edward Kim, a key developer, helped with the update, too.
This comes after Edward Kim uploaded photos of the whitepaper for the Block Entropy artificial intelligence chain. A limited number of ML inference tasks (artificial intelligence (AI) image diffusion, text language models, and music production) will be supported by TestNet at this time. Later on, it wants to provide features like SNARK verification, Python APIs, and distributed training/fine-tuning.
Cosmwasm 1.1.0 Parity Upgrade Awaited
To prepare for the May 17 mainnet upgrade to Columbus-5, the Joint L1 Task Force may now deploy Cosmos SDK v0.45.11. The development team will soon release a proposal on Agora to update the mainnet to version 2.0.0.
The development group has said that they will be able to perform the Cosmos SDK and Tendermint updates on the Rebel-2 testnet significantly earlier than originally scheduled (May 5). On May 9, the Rebel-2 testnet will get the Tendermint update.
Participating in the rebel-2 testnet upgrade to v2.0.0 using Cosmos SDK v0.45 were validators like as StakeBin, Allnodes, Lunanauts, StellarDrift, and SolidVote. The update to Cosmwasm 1.1.0 Parity is scheduled on May 31. As a result, developers and projects from all across the Cosmos and Terra Luna 2.0 will once again be able to use the Terra Classic network.
