The crypto world is very much focused on strategic partnerships and the entities are integrating real-time use cases into their network. Considering the priority of the community, delivering the users with significant implementations has become a worthy part of the crypto space. Similarly, t3rn and Rococo have joined hands together for a strategic partnership deploying testnet.
T3rn is a smart contract hub that enables cross-chain execution that launches testnet parachain on Rococo. This development is entitled “t0rn”, while the network is now plugged into the rest of the ecosystem’s parachain testnets. Moreover, Rococo is designed and created purely for testing the parachain functionalities. This deployment ensures the unique technology of t3rn in the Polkadot ecosystem.
The vision behind this launch is to make sure that the transaction is validated on both ends of the transaction. This seems the major issue that needs to be resolved in the cross-chain interactions. As a matter of fact, t3rn’s atomic cross-chain execution model means that both sets of transactions are guaranteed to both succeed or fail.
GRANDPA – Polkadot’s Finality Gadget
Consequently, the execution model depends on a t3rn circuit that sends smart contract calls to parachains that have a gateway. Adding to it, circuits have been effectively working in the verification times with Polkadot’s finality gadget, GRANDPA. So, Ghost-based Recursive ANcestor Deriving Prefix Agreement is the finality gadget that is implemented for Polkadot Relay Chain. Founder of t3rn, Maciej Baj stated that:
“Deploying on Rococo is a huge milestone for us, as this is the last testing ground before reaching a mainnet with economic value. Other parachains can register for Gateways and test our execution model. We think this will be revolutionary for the Polkadot ecosystem, finally enabling true cross-chain execution going beyond simple asset transfers”
Furthermore, the testnet is undergoing the final round before reaching the Mainnet. This would be the right time for other parachains to test the execution model. Moreover, the launch of the testnet allows users to experience the true cross-chain execution as the transactions are validated on both ends.
