Synternet, a provider of blockchain data infrastructure, has announced that it has integrated Peaq’s network into its flagship Data Layer. Layer-1 blockchain peaq is intended to serve as the preferred foundation for DePIN and Machine RWAs. It will enable peaq’s on-chain data to be accessed as a live data stream on its decentralized network, including transactions and dataflows from real-world dApps. With the help of the integration, developers will be able to use events-based architecture in the Economy of Things on peaq and create dashboards, machine learning applications, and sophisticated analytical tools.
Applications that are event-driven react with a predetermined set of actions to specified events, such as a mouse click, the start of a program, or a particular variable reaching a desired value. With its various decentralized physical infrastructure networks, this architecture may allow a broad range of potential use cases in the Economy of Things on peaq. A readily available live data flow for the app to listen to enables a variety of functions, such as a navigation dApp that responds to traffic congestion by rerouting vehicles to alternate paths, a power grid management app that engages extra capacities during peak hours, and an environment monitoring app that taps data from multiple DePINs to flag negative trends.
Through Synternet’s integration with Peaq, developers will have access to a stream of configurable on-chain data from Peaq, which they can use to do analytics and data visualizations and create flexible, event-driven dApps. For this reason, peaq is being added by Synternet as a Publisher on its Data Layer, which is a distributed network of nodes whose function it is to provide Subscribers with data streams. Subscribers may tailor the flows in peaq’s stream to suit their own requirements, such as monitoring transactions or examining information from certain DePINs. In this manner, developers may create dApps that react to certain network events.
Jonas Simanavicius, CTO at Synternet stated:
“peaq’s vision of bringing Web3 into the real world has unbound potential, and unlocking this potential in full takes advanced data streaming tools. We are excited to bring builders in the peaq ecosystem a versatile and highly customizable data streaming network for DePIN analytics and event-driven dApps. We are certain that it will open the door to a wide variety of innovative projects and use cases in the Economy of Things on peaq.”
Till Wendler, co-founder of peaq stated:
“Synternet’s capabilities add a versatile and powerful tool for data streaming for anyone in the ecosystem to leverage. We are certain the integration will bring a lot of value to DePINs building on peaq and are excited to see the novel applications that it will power.”
