An announcement has been made by Space and Time (SXT) Labs, a company that is backed by M12, that their blockchain data would be integrated with Microsoft Fabric. As a result of the integration of SXT, developers can have access to blockchain data from Bitcoin, Sui, and Ethereum that can be verified in real time inside Microsoft Azure OneLake.
SXT is a blockchain that indexes prominent blockchains, validates the data using zero-knowledge (ZK) proofs, and makes the data accessible for developers to query for the purposes of app development and analytics.
The integration that was disclosed simplifies the process of accessing blockchain data across the Fabric ecosystem. It offers a reliable and effective option for businesses to exploit insights about onchain activity right inside their apps. Fabric provides developers working for Microsoft with access to the indexed data inside SXT.
Nate Holiday, CEO of Space and Time Labs stated:
“We’re thrilled to expand our collaboration with Microsoft to provide verifiable blockchain data to enterprises, institutions, and developers building on Fabric. This integration enables a wealth of new data-driven use cases across financial services, Web3 apps, and AI to be built on Microsoft technology.”
It was the software company Space and Time Labs that was responsible for the first development of the SXT network. Following the successful completion of its strategic round in 2022, the venture capital fund known as M12, which is owned by Microsoft, took part in a $20 million Series A investment round for Space and Time in August of 2024.
Sruly Taber, Principal Product Manager, Microsoft Fabric at Microsoft stated:
“By integrating with Microsoft Fabric, Space and Time not only expands our ability to serve developers and enterprises with reliable data but also aligns with our mission to democratize technology across diverse industries, including Web3. This integration underscores our commitment to providing tools that enhance productivity and drive innovation at a global scale.”
In addition to being the first company to contribute to Space and Time (SXT), Space and Time Labs is acknowledged as a pioneer in the field of decentralized data and zero-knowledge (ZK) technologies. A multichain data platform that is verifiable and offers a platform for smart contracts, companies, and artificial intelligence models is provided by SXT, which is the blockchain for ZK-proven data. It is possible for smart contracts to handle onchain and offchain data at scale thanks to the integration of SXT Chain with Space and Time’s Proof of SQL, a sub-second ZK coprocessor. This opens up a wide range of powerful new use cases for blockchain technology. The most major financial institutions, companies, and Web3 applications have placed their faith in SXT since it is backed by Microsoft’s M12 Ventures.
