Today the Shiba Inu team revealed that the beta release of its Layer-2 blockchain, Shibarium, will soon be available to the public. Pre-launch, the Shibarium blockchain’s official Twitter account explains the concept of the Shibarium to the Shiba Inu community. In response, the value of SHIB and BONE tokens has increased dramatically during the last day.

The Shibarium blockchain’s official Twitter account, @ShibariumNetwork, said on January 16 that the last touches are being put on the project’s upcoming Beta release. As soon as possible, the Shibarium will be available to the Shiba Inu community.

No Official Release Date Yet

Shiba Inu’s official accounts and primary developer Shytoshi Kusama have been teasing the release of Shibarium in early 2023. In an official blog post, the Shiba Inu team explained the essence of the Shibarium blockchain and its impending debut.

The Shibarium team has said that they are nearing the final adjustments for Shibarium’s Beta launch. While no official release date has been announced.

Layer 2 blockchain technology developed by Shibarium will address the scalability and performance bottlenecks that have plagued previous blockchain implementations. The Shibarium will only need SHIB, LEASH, and BONE tokens from the SHIB ecosystem. As Web3 develops, it will become more useful in the metaverse, NFTs, dApps, and games.

The Shibarium protocol will continue to use BONE as the only token approved for paying for gas transactions and rewarding Validators and Delegators, as previously indicated. The total number of circulating SHIB tokens will decrease dramatically as a result of the high burn rate of the Shibarium network.
