The technical infrastructure of the project relies on Zupple’s LegitDoc Web3 solution. Employers in the state of Karnataka have already begun utilizing these certificates for transparent and streamlined identity verification processes.
Caste certificates are official documents in modern India, certifying an individual’s caste or community, and they are issued by governmental bodies to individuals belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), or Other Backward Classes (OBC). Both states are also employing Polygon (MATIC) developments to verify citizens’ education and medical status, benefiting from a tamper-proof and transparent technical platform for processing sensitive information.
