PBA-X, a significant initiative designed to speed up web3 learning and onboard the next generation of blockchain professionals, was unveiled by Polkadot Blockchain Academy. As a four-week, part-time, cohort-based online course, PBA-X will equip prospective blockchain developers with the skills they need to begin exploring web3.
On January 6, the first PBA-X cohort will begin, offering participants the chance to advance their understanding of blockchain and develop fundamental skills that will serve as a basis for further learning. In order to democratize access to high-quality structured learning materials about Web3, PBA-X was developed with the help of senior Polkadot developers, notably Dr. Gavin Wood. Moreover, it allows anybody to engage, regardless of geography or expertise.
PBA-X delivers knowledge in a very accessible and readily assimilated style while upholding the strong standards established by Polkadot Blockchain Academy. Blockchain, Polkadot SDK, Economics, Governance, and Cryptography are among the course components.
The four-week course consists of many live lectures every week to supplement the professionally produced lectures that have been shot especially for PBA-X. Multiple-choice tests are used to evaluate each lesson online. PBA-X is an introductory course that doesn’t need any prior technical knowledge. It will take blockchain newcomers from scratch to the top, giving them priceless information that will increase their employment prospects at Polkadot and in the larger Web3 sector.
Polkadot Blockchain Academy CEO Pauline Cohen Vorms said:
“We’re excited to welcome the first group to PBA-X for a month, from January 6. There is a common misconception that blockchain is complete wizardry and not something that mere mortals can’t really understand. As PBA-X will show, if you have the right learning platform and are willing to put in the work, you can rapidly accelerate your knowledge to become comfortable with the technology, to then take that knowledge and use it to accelerate your career in the space.”
The course curriculum gives learners the confidence to traverse the Polkadot ecosystem by covering both essential Polkadot-specific components and evergreen blockchain ideas. After finishing, participants will be prepared to decide whether to apply for the in-person PBA Campus course, which covers more advanced subjects particularly for developers, or to choose their own path into the sector.
PBA-X is a four-week, flexible course designed by Polkadot Blockchain Academy for anybody interested in learning about blockchain technology. Participants may join a web3 community of like-minded people and study the basics of blockchain technology under the guidance of Dr. Gavin Wood and the Polkadot team. PBA-X gives learners the knowledge and self-assurance they need to successfully traverse the Polkadot ecosystem by covering both essential Polkadot-specific components and timeless blockchain concepts.
