Pharos Network Launches AtlanticOcean Testnet to Power Global RWA Liquidity

Pharos Network Launches AtlanticOcean Testnet to Power Global RWA Liquidity Blockchain News
  • The Pharos Atlantic Ocean Testnet acts as a bridge for global liquidity on-chain, much as the Atlantic Ocean used to link continents via discovery and commerce.
  • Prior to the mainnet launch, it allows partners, builders, and institutions to test cross-border real-world asset movements, establishing the groundwork for global ecosystem development.

With the introduction of the AtlanticOcean Testnet, Programmable open financial Layer-1 Pharos Network has advanced its ecosystem from regional pilots to a worldwide interconnected network, achieving a significant milestone in terms of size, memory, and speed for its blockchain architecture.

The Pharos Atlantic Ocean Testnet acts as a bridge for global liquidity on-chain, much as the Atlantic Ocean used to link continents via discovery and commerce. Prior to the mainnet launch, it allows partners, builders, and institutions to test cross-border real-world asset movements, establishing the groundwork for global ecosystem development.

With a 0.5-second block time and nearly 3 billion transactions recorded across 23 million blocks since its May launch, the Pharos first Testnet has also established a global validator network, fully synchronized with Ethereum Dencun SPEC with dependable block replay, and implemented optimizations such as parallel execution, improved caching, and low-memory node releases. The network’s preparedness for extensive, real-world testing has been further confirmed by collaborations with Morpho Labs, Bitverse, Euclid, and others, as well as integrations with OKX Wallet, Bitget Wallet, Hemera Explorer, and Goldsky.

A modular architecture that decouples consensus, execution, node, and storage layers; pipeline-based consensus enhancements; hybrid parallel execution using DAG-based and Block-STM V1 models; cache-friendly storage via PharosDB; an expanded developer toolset for more complex and composable testing scenarios; and the official PoS tokenomics model with 1 billion total supply aligned with the mainnet are just a few of the significant improvements that AtlanticOcean is introducing.

“Based on what we have built now, we validated the foundation of Pharos, excellent performance, fair access, and scalable execution,” said Wish Wu, Co-founder & CEO of Pharos Network. “AtlanticOcean builds on that success. From here, Pharos goes global. We push the limits of scale, memory, and speed before real assets flow on-chain. We focus on the digital rails for liquidity to move freely between institutions, protocols, and people worldwide.”

Pharos intends to implement Testnet activations in phases. The first Testnet will coexist with AtlanticOcean for a few months to enable ecosystem partners to move gradually and guarantee continuity and a seamless transfer. Top-performing community validators will be asked to join AtlanticOcean and next mainnet sets during this time. In order to create momentum for the mainnet launch scheduled for Q1 2026, a significant milestone in Pharos’ path toward global, on-chain real-world asset financing, subsequent stages will continue to grow the network and progress mainnet preparations.

Through https://testnet.pharosnetwork.xyz/atlantic, RWA partners, institutions, and builders are encouraged to investigate, test, and contribute.

Real-world assets, TradFi, and cross-chain liquidity are all connected into a single programmable network via the Pharos Network, a next-generation financial Layer 1. For real-world applications, like as enterprise-grade finance, asset tokenization, and high-throughput DeFi, Pharos offers very quick execution and neutrality. Hack VC, Faction VC, and other top international investors support the idea.
