In a surprising turn of events, Peter Schiff, who has been openly critical of cryptocurrency for years and once dismissed NFTs as lacking value and prone to replication, is now gearing up to debut his own NFT art collection on the Bitcoin platform.
I'm pleased to announce an art project with one of my favorite artists, Market Price. This collaboration features the original painting “Golden Triumph” as well as a series of prints and Ordinals inscribed on the #Bitcoin blockchain. Schiff took to Twitter to reveal his partnership with digital artist Market Price for the release of his exclusive set of Ordinals. The collection titled Golden Triumph, underscoring his unwavering faith in gold as a reliable store of value. Within the Golden Triumph collection, one can find a captivating physical painting on an oil linen canvas that portrays a human hand firmly clutching a bar of gold.
In addition to this artwork, 50 prints on archival paper showcase the same compelling image. Furthermore, the collection includes 50 digital representations of the artwork, marked as Ordinal NFTs on the Bitcoin network. The reports indicate that the collection will be sold through a two-part auction, with the bidding starting on June 2 and concluding on June 9.
