Ontology announced a collaboration with bloXmove, a B2B mobility blockchain platform, to accelerate decentralized credentials development. A fragmented infrastructure has evolved from the fast digitalization of transportation and the introduction of digital mobility apps allowing people to rent cars and bikes, book flights and trains, and more. As a result, consumers are increasingly asked to pass out sensitive data.
Decentralized Digital Identity Protocol
To address these issues, bloXmove will incorporate Ontology’s decentralized digital identity protocol (DID) into its platform. Giving users a decentralized identification that allows them to communicate verified credentials like driver’s licenses securely. It will also enable them to securely store a large number of IDs. Thus, allowing them to reuse them across numerous means of conveyance while maintaining privacy.
