Oasys, a platform created exclusively for gaming community, has teamed up with AltLayer, a decentralized rollup interlayer. Through the agreement, blockchain game and metaverse launches on the Oasys ecosystem will be made simpler by enabling users to create Verses, or Layer 2 rollups, on Oasys with just one click, thanks to AltLayer’s Rollup-as-a-Service.
Optimism’s well-known open-source development platform, the OP Stack, is used in Oasys’ own Layer 2 development offering, which is enhanced by the partnership with AltLayer. Following the decision to allow rollups created by outside parties via Oasys Governance, AltLayer has entered into a collaboration.
Regardless of blockchain programming knowledge, anybody can build a customized rollup using AltLayer’s simple dashboards. With its no-code rollup launcher, AltLayer provides a flexible rollup stack that allows for one-click deployment. To develop blockchain games on Layer 2, users may simply navigate via AltLayer’s user-friendly interfaces to create and launch their Verse on Oasys.

Dr. Jia will work with Oasys as a technical adviser throughout this partnership to promote new research discoveries like fast-finality and zk Proof, which will allow Verses users have access to state-of-the-art infrastructure. Yaoqi is knowledgeable in distributed systems, web security & privacy, network security, blockchain security, and has held leadership positions at Parity and Zilliqa in the past with a Ph.D. in computer science from the National University of Singapore (NUS).
