As it gets ready for its upcoming mainnet launch, Layer 1 blockchain N1, backed by the Founders Fund, has reaffirmed the dedication of its original investors. After initially funding its predecessor, 01, VCs and angel investors, such as Multicoin Capital and Arthur Hayes, have reiterated their support for N1.

The original investors will assist with the introduction of the Layer 1 blockchain, which is intended to function as a full-stack ecosystem for high-throughput dapps, and have been included in N1’s updated cap table. N1 completely removes computation and latency constraints, eliminating the trade-offs between onchain and offchain development. It makes it much simpler for developers to create complex apps that scale without sacrificing functionality by supporting popular programming languages like TypeScript, with Python and more on the horizon.

After closing 01, its founders turned to N1, using what they had learned throughout the project’s development. The original investors still fully support the founding team of N1, which they have built as a fundamentally new Layer 1.

N1 was developed to accelerate dapp development and was intended to be drastically different from post-Ethereum smart contract chains. Eventually, every code onchain should be supported, enabling developers to use their preferred programming language to deliver apps. This eliminates the barrier that has traditionally hampered adoption and makes blockchain development seem no different from regular software development.

N1 offers unmatched efficiency because of its distinct settlement and execution layers and a unique consensus-less architecture that reaches quorum without sacrificing security. Because each application running on the N1 execution layer is set up in a separate environment, it may grow vertically and use its own language.

The first Typescript smart contract platform, NTS, was just released by N1 and is now available to a limited number of early access developers. By creating apps that were previously unattainable onchain, these testers are already expanding the possibilities of what is feasible in a completely decentralized setting.

N1 has established N1 Studios, a product studio devoted to fostering and assisting the next generation of onchain apps, in addition to the core protocol. Having developed an app themselves, the N1 founders are aware that apps are essential to the development of blockchain technology. They are actively leading the way rather than waiting for an ecosystem to develop.

In order to fully realize the promise of an unlimited execution environment, N1 Studios will concentrate on financing, coaching, and releasing high-impact apps. N1 gives developers the freedom to create without compromising by removing conventional limitations on computation, latency, and compatibility with programming languages. The team at N1 Studios is making sure that innovative applications are not only feasible but also unavoidable.

N1 is a Layer 1 blockchain with extremely low latency and unlimited scalability. It has sub-ms latency, ultra-high throughput, and horizontal scalability, making it ideal for next-generation crypto applications. There is no state congestion since each app runs in a separate, isolated environment.
