Ever since the concept of cloud based crypto mining came to the limelight, the emotions of crypto mining catapulted, and absolutely evolved to a new level. True to the fact, all the drawbacks upon crypto mining have always been a great threat to ban it. 

In addition, many countries have indeed banned crypto mining because of their drawbacks. Major problems include excessive power consumptions, large processing equipment which are indeed pricey, and most important of all large room areas they occupy. However, the cloud based crypto mining thrashed away all the anomalies put upon crypto, and Bitcoin (BTC) mining.

Cloud based crypto mining doesn’t require any sort of large equipment, nor space. The only major necessity would be in terms of power consumption alone. All the mining processes are set upon automated softwares on the cloud, thereby eliminating the need for large storage devices.

Accordingly, all major tech giants indulged themselves upon enabling cloud based crypto mining features for users. These include Microsoft, Google, Digital Ocean, and much more. However, Microsoft has now ended their cloud mining services attribute, Azure

This is due to the major concern of the users terming that the overall cloud speed dropped down drastically, and proved to be of a big headache for the general cloud users. Moreover, in recent times Microsoft has faced a series of capacity shortages upon its computing systems. 

As a result, Microsoft has also announced the requirement of a pre-approval for carrying out crypto mining upon online cloud services for special cases such as research, and testing purposes alone. 

Similarly, the same case follows for all other tech giants like Google, Digital Ocean, all in the requirement of permission for enabling mining upon their clouds. On the other hand, Oracle alone has completely stopped cloud based crypto mining services. 

And so, the team from Microsoft states that this decision has been taken in order to protect the customers, and mitigate the risk of disrupting or impairing the cloud services.
