The trademark filing was done on the 14th of Dec for Mercedes-Benz, Mercedes, S-Class, G-Class, and Maybach. The NFT-backed media, crypto-collectibles, stores for virtual goods, and so on are the list of plans in stock.
Benz is not the sole automobile that is entering the metaverse trademark market and this is also not its first plan of action. Brands like BMW and Ford have already started exploring this arena. And the car makers’ blockchain introduction was with the FTX. The collaboration was between Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team and FTX, which ended in Nov 2022.
The bear market and the uncertainty among the platforms have created panic in the crypto circle. But the fact of them being the future remains undeniable by witnessing such scenarios.
