This global Web3 conference, organized by CoinPost, Japan’s leading cryptocurrency, and Web3 media outlet, attracted 180 exhibiting companies, 250 speakers, and over 130 media partners. It has become Asia’s largest Web3 event, serving as a crucial platform for discussing the future of Web3 technologies.
Japan’s Prime Minister, Fumio Kishida delivered a keynote speech via video, reiterating his commitment to Japan’s “new capitalism” policy. This policy emphasizes using innovation to address social issues.
Further, Kishida highlighted that the Japanese government has begun implementing specific measures, including tax reforms and legal amendments, to help Web3 start-ups raise funds more efficiently.
Additionally, the “Core Policy for 2024” will prioritize user protection while promoting the flexible use of Web3 tokens, accelerating payments, and boosting the content industry. The conference also witnessed the participation of industry leaders like Binance, who announced the launch of Binance’s services on a new Japanese platform.
