As my term as the Ambassador of Grenada to the World Trade Organization (@wto) comes to a close, effective 31 March 2023, I want to express my gratitude for the wonderful experiences and the amazing support that I have received during my time here.

In a series of tweets, Justin Sun said that as of Friday, March 31, 2023, he would no longer be representing Grenada at the World Trade Organization (WTO).
Focusing on Digital Economy and Crypto Regulation
Sun said he learned a lot from his time as ambassador, and that talking to other countries envoys gave him new views on trade challenges from all around the globe. The founder of Tron has announced that he is handing up diplomatic duties to his successor so that he may concentrate on crypto regulation and the digital economy.
The Tron founder stated:
“In the coming months, I will be focusing on the smooth transition of my duties to my successor. Afterwards, I plan to take some time to rest before continuing my career as a public servant, with a particular focus on digital economy and crypto regulation as I believe that these areas are crucial to the future of trade and development.”
As the Grenada Broadcasting Network pointed out, Sun’s time as Grenada’s representative to the WTO expired following the country’s June 2022 general elections, which resulted in the defeat of the New National Party. In December 2021, the Tron founder was selected for the position.
In a recent complaint, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) accused Sun of securities fraud and market manipulation in connection with the unregistered sale of TRX and BTT tokens.
