Decentralized AI network Ritual and decentralized GPU network io.net have announced a strategic alliance. By using and enhancing the synergies already present between the two platforms, the innovative partnership seeks to significantly disrupt the AI computing industry.
io.net offers architecture and infrastructure for establishing decentralized GPU clusters distributed across different locations, and it additionally provides technology to provide fast access to inexpensive GPU computing resources. Ritual, on the other hand, gives users the ability to easily integrate AI models into their protocols, apps, or smart contracts.
Ahmad Shadid, founder of io.net, expressed enthusiasm about the long-term partnership:
“After we were introduced to Ritual, there was an instant connection and the potential synergies between our projects became apparent. Ritual’s tooling, particularly their Infernet SDK and node client, aligns with our vision for enhancing GPU utilization and opening up new markets. We’re excited to see how the partnership will attract more developers and enable groundbreaking use-cases in AI compute.”
Ritual cofounder Akilesh Potti echoed Shadid’s sentiments, noting:
“Joining forces with io.net represents a significant milestone for Ritual. Their extensive infrastructure and global compute access capabilities, combined with our AI stack, create a powerful synergy. Together, we are poised to unlock new possibilities and efficiencies to benefit developers and users alike.”
Through the orchestration of Ritual’s Infernet SDK, Infernet node client, and Ritual Chain components, io.net hopes to attract more developers, boost GPU use on io.net Cloud, and open up an array of new use cases and markets for the network.
Ritual is actively developing a sovereign chain for artificial intelligence (AI), using modular tools to help connect AI to on-chain workloads and software to allow decentralized inference, model marketplaces, and heterogeneous proofs.
By means of this technological collaboration and cooperation between the business teams of both companies, io.net and Ritual want to raise the bar in the global AI compute market and provide users and AI/ML developers with more creative, affordable, and accessible solutions.
