Hitachi America, Ltd. (Hitachi) has joined the Hedera Council, bringing with it expertise in industrial solutions. Throughout the Americas, Hitachi operates both directly and via its subsidiaries, providing a wide variety of products and services in electronics, power, industrial, healthcare, information technology, operational technology, mobility, and the IoT.

Within the next twelve months, Hitachi plans to start developing Hedera proof-of-concepts for sustainability and end-to-end supply chain solutions.

The founding members of Hedera’s network, who also serve on the Council, have an equal say in shaping the company’s software and services.
