- Helium is up 20%, trading at the $0.71 mark.
- HNT’s buying momentum is accelerating.
As of the close of August, among the digital assets, Helium (HNT) has registered a notable 20.11% surge in value and is currently trading within the $0.7146 range. Also, its trading volume has hit $211.85 million. The session has ranged between a low of $0.5747 and a high of $0.9782.
On August 28, Celina, Texas, announced a live Helium deployment that converted existing public Wi-Fi infrastructure into carrier-grade coverage. The network is already carrying approximately 100 GB of data per day, with more locations expected to come online this fall.
Celina grew 25% in a single year, a pace that makes traditional cell tower infrastructure impossible to keep up with. Helium’s network offered a faster, infrastructure-light solution. Helium’s network now spans more than 42,000 U.S. locations and serves more than 2.5 million people daily.
On the other hand, Helium has broken out of a long-term rectangle pattern after exploding higher from the $0.30 zone. That base had been holding for months, and when it finally broke, it happened with force.
A major short squeeze has accelerated the rally further, with bulls firmly in control and strong momentum. If the breakout holds, the measured move from the rectangle pattern points to an $8 target, representing significant upside from current levels.
Helium Momentum: More Upside or Reversal?
As the chart holds and lights up more green candles, the price might move up to the $0.7206 resistance zone. If the pressure on the upside strengthens, it will likely trigger the golden cross to take place and push the Helium price above the $0.73 threshold.
Assuming a bearish reversal in momentum, the HNT price chart would turn red and slip to the nearest support range at around $0.70. Additional loss might initiate the emergence of the death cross and send the asset’s price toward $0.6917 or even lower.
The 4-hour technical chart shows that the MACD line of Helium is above the signal line, and both lines are above the zero line. This crossover signals strong bullish momentum. The short-term momentum is stronger than long-term momentum, placing the asset in an overall bullish trend.
It shows that the buying momentum is accelerating upward. This is one of the strongest buying signals, suggesting the uptrend is healthy, and buyers are in control.

Helium’s RSI is at 61.48, exhibiting moderate bullish momentum, and the trend has strong upward momentum without being in the immediate danger zone of a reversal. Buyers have clear control, but there is still room for the price to push higher before it becomes technically overbought.
This reading shows a healthy and active uptrend. Furthermore, it reflects solid buying interest while remaining below the overbought threshold.
