Do Kwon, the founder of Terraform Labs accused of fraud following the dramatic collapse of the firm’s cryptocurrencies in May, is clearly on the run, according to South Korean prosecutors. And he is refusing to cooperate with the investigation.
Friday Do Kwon claimed in a Tweet that he was not on the run and has expressed interest in communicating with government agencies. He also claimed that he and his team were fully cooperating because they had nothing to conceal. According to a statement issued by Singapore authorities on Saturday, Do Kwon is no longer in Singapore.
South Korean prosecutors responded to Kwon’s tweet by saying that Do Kwon was clearly on the run and was not participating in the investigation. According to the prosecutors, they are currently in the process of locating the whereabouts of suspect Do Kwon and apprehending him. The officials went on to say that they will work with local and international investigators to crack the case.
