Richard Branson is a billionaire and founder of the Virgin Group, which owns over 400 companies. Since he has shown support for bitcoin Richard fed up with crypto scammers who use his name to mislead naive investors.

Richard stated that he will do anything to stop cryptocurrency frauds that use his name as hooks to trap naive crypto investors. His initials could be a successful tool to mislead traders.

Crypto Scammers Target Richard Branson’s Identity

For a long time, the billionaire has been a target of crypto scammers. Several fraudulent articles have been published, claiming that Branson promotes investing in crypto platforms and encourages investors to do the same.

In a recent interview, Richard Branson stated that they will use all of their resources to abolish such false advertising. According to him, this might be a tragic crime because the most of victims are naive investors whose losses could be hugely damaging.

And he stated that,

 It’s a terrible thing because it affects a small person who can ill afford it. We are doing enormous amounts to try to stop it.

Branson said previously he had reported the issue with Meta’s Chief Operating Officer, Sheryl Sandberg, and he appointed lawyers to investigate and resolve the issue.

Virgin Galactic Holdings, Branson’s space venture, accepts bitcoin as a payment option. Also, Richard Branson invested some of his own money into the most popular cryptocurrency.
