Countries around the globe are keeping the devastated nation and its citizens in their prayers and sending possible bits of help. The crypto community has also come forward to support Turkey. Exchanges such as Bybit, BitMex, Bitfinex, BitGet, and Binance have officially portrayed their assistance on Twitter.

The help is in form of donations in fiat as well as crypto, sending aid kits, and much more. Bitmex is donating the “week’s Trading Competition to the Red Crescent”, the Red Cross Movement in Turkey. Prominent crypto personalities are showing their condolences and praying to provide the necessary strength to the victims.

The crypto community’s support of such natural and manmade disasters is not new. The world has witnessed such a scenario during the COVID-19 spread, as well as during the war between Ukraine and Russia. Donations and funding in crypto will remove the barriers that one has to undergo in fiat transactions.
