- SUI’s price has increased by almost 3.80% in the last 24 hours.
- On May 18, 2023, following 9 AM PT, trade is scheduled to begin.
In a recent announcement, Coinbase, the biggest cryptocurrency exchange in the United States, said it will list Sui (SUI) on its trading platform. The company’s primary concept is to deliver reliable crypto assets to its retail consumers and to further strengthen the usage of Web3. This announcement is a direct outcome of that concept.
The California-based cryptocurrency exchange stated on Wednesday that it will announce the start of trading on the SUI-USD pair in stages if the necessary liquidity criteria were reached. On May 18, 2023, following 9 AM PT, trade is scheduled to begin.
This comes after the Binance exchange, the biggest cryptocurrency trading platform by market share added the SUI token and launched SUI farming on its platform just a few weeks ago.
Placed in Experimental Category
The SUI token, it was announced, will be placed in the “Experimental” category, which is designated for cryptocurrencies that are either relatively new to the crypto market or have minimal trading volume when compared to more well-known cryptocurrencies.
Coinbase will add support for SUI with the Experimental label. Learn more about the Experimental label here: https://t.co/MBMBbYyZ7S

The SUI community’s reaction to the news was overwhelmingly positive, while PEPE holders feel left out. Recently, Coinbase has been aggressive in planning to launch additional coins. PEPE holders too expect a similar announcement in the near future.
Osmosis (OSMO), a decentralized exchange (DEX) developed for the Cosmos ecosystem, was recently added to the cryptocurrency exchange’s roadmap and is presently pending listing permission. As a result of this recent update, SUI’s price has increased by almost 3.80% in the last 24 hours. At the time of this writing, one SUI is worth around $1.19.
