Artificial intelligence is racing to get from discourse to execution. Kris Marszalek, a cryptocurrency executive, founded ai.com, a new consumer AI platform that is joining the market with self-governing AI agents that can do more than simply respond to commands.

According to the firm, its agents can plan activities, carry them out across applications, and even create missing tools on their own—a move that might further integrate AI into daily digital life.

From crypto scale to consumer AI ambition

Kris Marszalek, the CEO and co-founder of Crypto.com, one of the biggest consumer cryptocurrency platforms in the world, is in charge of ai.com. With ai.com positioned as a mass-market AI play rather than a specialized developer tool, Marszalek will remain the leader of both firms.

Without any technical setup or coding knowledge, the platform enables anyone to create a personalized AI agent in around 60 seconds. These agents, in contrast to typical chatbots, are designed to do tasks like message sending, calendar management, workflow automation, and basic project development.

According to ai.com, if a job calls for capability that isn’t already available, agents may even develop new skills on their own. Once validated, such enhancements are disseminated across the larger agent network. Theoretically, this leads to a flywheel effect, wherein all agents get more competent the more they are employed.

According to Marszalek, this decentralized system has the potential to accelerate the development of artificial general intelligence, or AGI—AI systems that are capable of carrying out a variety of activities at a level comparable to that of humans.

“We are at a fundamental shift in AI’s evolution as we rapidly move beyond basic chats to AI agents actually getting things done for humans,” said Kris Marszalek, Founder and CEO of ai.com.

Our Vision is a decentralized network of billions of agents that share and enhance themselves, greatly increasing agentic capabilities and hastening the development of AGI. On February 8, 2026, ai.com will formally introduce its agent product, making its high-profile NBC commercial debut during Super Bowl LX.

Autonomy meets privacy and regulation

Although the promise is audacious, autonomous agents immediately raise concerns about responsibility, privacy, and safety. According to ai.com, every agent works in a safe, private setting where user information is protected using unique keys and user permissions rigorously govern what they may do.

If agents are permitted to process payments, trade stocks, or communicate with third-party platforms, that architecture will be put to the test very soon. When an AI agent commits an error or takes a destructive action, financial regulators in particular are likely to closely examine the allocation of culpability.

According to the corporation, users will still have complete control and all activities will be permission-based. However, demonstrating that consumer-grade autonomy can grow without posing new concerns will be the true test. While ai.com is initially free, more sophisticated features are available at premium membership levels.

Financial integrations, agent marketplaces, and social networks that link people, agents, and agencies are other elements that are being explored. For the time being, the debut of ai.com marks a change in the consumer AI narrative from asking questions to doing tasks.
