COTI was very excited to announce that on November 2nd, 2021 COTI’s Mainnet 2.0. Only 5 days left for the launch, and the COTI CEO shared the top things that COTI is currently working on.
Accordingly, COTI mentions that the base infrastructure for its systems and products is COTI’s Trustchain. It lies on a multi-DAG (directed acyclic graph data structure, works in tandem to drive up scalability, processing over 100,000 transactions per second (TPS).
Furthermore, Mainnet 2.0 moving forward and taking the next step in performance. COTI Mainnet 2.0 will start with the basics and work its way up to database performance enhancements that will bring faster transaction confirmations.
COTI team stated,
“We have been working on COTI’s Mainnet 2.0 for over an ear, investing thousands of man-hours to allow new scalability and speed capabilities as well as to optimize COTI’s platform to support its massive growth”.
More so, Mainnet 2.0 includes, RockDB, which is the storage engine for the coti-node, and in the latest release, it is enhanced with the latest features such as faster loading time and backup capabilities such as On-Demand backup. The next one is, Queues, which is the COTI-node queue management for the entire software and it is improved with better locks and takes. This makes the events flow flawlessly, enabling faster transactions without having to drop any of them.
Henceforth, the COTI team mentioned they have also increased the outside communications being used by Zero-MQ and STOMP. Furthermore, this allows a constant sending rate of messages, which will help the COTI network retain stable communication between wallets and bridges.
