Charles Hoskinson’s New Hospital Will Accept Cardano (ADA)

Altcoin News
  • The hospital will open in February of 2023 as per the first announcement.
  • It is located in the state of Wyoming in the United States.

Hoskinson Health & Wellness Clinic, named after Cardano co-founder and CEO Charles Hoskinson, will accept ADA, the native token of the Cardano ecosystem, as payment for medical services.

When Hoskinson first announced the news a few days ago, he claimed that the hospital will open in February of 2023. The founder of Cardano did not say whether or not his new medical facility will take bitcoin (BTC) or ether (ETH), two other significant cryptocurrencies.

ADA For Settling Medical Cost

Hoskinson tweeted the news after a follower inquired whether or not they could use ADA to settle medical costs at the hospital.  “Yes” was the response from Cardano’s founder.

The website for Hoskinson Health & Wellness Clinic states that it is located in the state of Wyoming in the United States. Primary care, mental health services, women’s health, preventative health screenings, cancer tests, diet/nutritional medicine, and cardiovascular care are just a few of the many medical options available to hospital patients.

Furthermore, Longevity medicine, including biological dietary supplements, diets, exercise, and medical therapy, is another area of emphasis at this medical center. The doors of the clinic are now ajar, and the full opening is scheduled for the following month. The hospital has roughly 10 employees and is eager to grow, as stated on its LinkedIn profile.

Moreover, Hoskinson has lately taken further steps to promote the widespread use of the ADA token. Earlier this year, the blockchain architect revealed plans to open Nessie’s, a restaurant and whisky bar in Wyoming that accepts ADA as payment.
