- There will be new papers for protocol enhancements in the next weeks as per Hoskinson.
Charles Hoskinson has dispelled detractors’ accusations that Cardano Hydra has been disbanded, referring to them as FUD, or Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt. Charles Hoskinson, founder of Cardano, has said that the speculations suggesting that Cardano Hydra has been abandoned are baseless rumors.
According to the founder, there will be new papers for protocol enhancements in the next weeks, and the Cardano ecosystem is having a fantastic time with the community.
Productive and Motivated
According to Hoskinson, there were videos that claimed the network’s scaling protocol, Cardano Hydra, had been abandoned. But he made it clear that it was all false positives and negative press since Cardano’s crew is now more “productive and motivated.”
Hoskinson has consistently stepped forward to defend Cardano Hydra whenever erroneous information has been spread regarding the protocol. Some misunderstandings over Cardano Hydra’s capabilities arose in October of last year. There were whispers that Hydra was unable to process transactions quickly enough after going live on the mainnet in May.
Moreover, to counter this, Hoskinson showcased Cardano’s throughput capacity by sharing a TPS chart showing about 1,000 TPS. He went on to say that, since Hydra’s purpose has changed over time, the statistic doesn’t tell the whole story of Cardano’s potential.
A novel method to transaction processing was integral to Cardano Hydra’s architecture from the start, with the goal of increasing the network’s scalability. In order to make the protocol better and guarantee the seamless delivery of its features, the Cardano Hydra development team has steadily applied many improvements over time.
