CESS Attends Hong Kong Web3 Festival to Feature Advanced Cloud-Based Data Solution

Market News

Cumulus Encrypted Storage System (CESS), the first full-stack decentralized storage solution for large-scale enterprise needs, has taken part in the inaugural Hong Kong Web3 Festival as a Tertiary Exhibition Sponsor. A premier Web3 event with over 10,000 attendees, 300 speakers and over 100 participating projects, the event was co-hosted by @WXblockchain and @HashKeygroup, April 12-15.

Held at the celebrated Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), the four-day event featured five center stages across a massive conference arena. Leading VCs, representatives from the digital asset regulation sphere and numerous community and media partners came together to network, share and learn via high-level content and panel discussions.

The festival showcased numerous panel discussions on a wide range of topics, including roundtable forums on Web3 infrastructure, the evolution of computing platforms from cloud to chain, and NFTs, GameFi, and infrastructure. In the discussions at the conference, we heard many voices about the need for infrastructure for Web3.

The Web3 ecosystem is young and developing rapidly, and the vigorous development of decentralized applications requires a more suitable infrastructure as the underlying support. Many Web3 companies are rushing to fill these gaps, but building high-quality, reliable infrastructure still requires technological innovation. As an infrastructure project that provides decentralized cloud storage for the Web3 industry, CESS is optimized for processing high-frequency dynamic data, enabling real-time data sharing and data valuable, safeguarding users’ data ownership, privacy and assets, which made CESS gain great attention in the Web3 Festival.

Jessie Dai, Co-Founder and COO of CESS, commented on the CESS’s role at the festival: “CESS is the first decentralized storage for large-scale enterprise-level storage that provides the best solution for storing and retrieving Web3 high-frequency dynamic data. CESS is committed to building a practical yet robust decentralized storage infrastructure for Web3. With DeOSS, effective on-ramps, industry-specific offerings and high-performance capabilities that can support rapid growth and expansion of the next generation of Web3 applications, we help support the mission and vision of many promising projects in the blockchain and decentralized applications spaces. The Hong Kong Web3 Festival provided us with the perfect platform to reach the right audiences and drive the discussions of policy, regulation and technological advancement, and we are thrilled to be at the center of these exciting times.”

DeOSS (Decentralized Object Storage Service), is the first technology to realize large-scale commercial cloud storage for the Web3 industry by CESS. DeOSS features lightning-fast, secure, scalable storage for large files with privacy management, ideal for enterprise-level users with dynamic data storage needs.

Additionally, CESS’s DeOSS is considered the “S3” of decentralized storage, and when compared with other Web3 storage projects, it offers lower storage costs, higher file reliability, more secure and efficient storage proofs, and lightning fast upload and retrieval speeds. These capabilities further strengthen the project’s value proposition and make it the ideal partner for enterprises and projects that want to have fast, performant, and robust decentralized storage to empower a new Web3 era.

Cumulus Encrypted Storage System (CESS) is a Web3 storage solution for hot, warm, and cold data. CESS also is a secure, efficient, and scalable decentralized cloud storage network that provides data storage services and data sharing platforms for Web3. It is the first decentralized storage network that offers full-stack data solutions for large-scale commercial applications. As an open-sourced and public blockchain, CESS is positioned to be the underlying network infrastructure that is equipped with integrated APIs and SDK for easy dApps deployment. It supports WASM and is compatible with EVM smart contracts, making CESS widely available for large-scale commercial applications with its superior performance in data handling.
