Cloud computing division of Alibaba Group, a Chinese e-commerce behemoth, is now housing the blockchain security firm CertiK’s Asian cloud infrastructure. Through this partnership, CertiK will be able to provide Web3 services and host a suite of twelve blockchain apps on Alibaba Cloud.
In order to provide its blockchain developers a safe space to build and launch Web3 apps, CertiK is hosting its services on Alibaba’s centralized cloud infrastructure.
The co-founder of CertiK, Ronghui Gu, stated:
“For over five years, we have believed in the transformative power of blockchain technology. We look forward to empowering developers with secure blockchain development and deployment through Alibaba Cloud’s platform.”
Boosting Developer Resources
In the past, the node-as-a-service projects powered by Alibaba Cloud were connected with Avalanche blockchain. Thanks to the collaboration, Avalanche’s development team was able to use Alibaba’s cloud infrastructure to roll out more validator nodes.
Moreover, Alibaba Cloud provides developers with access to extra processing, storage, and distribution capabilities, which may be useful for peak hour resource needs.
The collaboration between CertiK and Alibaba Cloud began in May 2023, when CertiK integrated its security suite into Alibaba Cloud’s blockchain-as-a-service platform. Also, code reviews, risk assessments, team identification verification, and background checks on Alibaba’s cloud infrastructure were all made possible by this agreement for CertiK’s developers.
Furthermore, after first integrating its layer-1 blockchain auditing service and smart contract auditing, CertiK indicated intentions to include penetration testing and its Skynet due diligence tool. China is a hotbed for blockchain and Web3 apps, but its entrepreneurs and investors are also putting their money on AI.
