In an effort to educate the public about blockchain technology and explore its potential applications in the energy industry, the Cardano Foundation has partnered with Petrobras, the state-owned oil giant of Brazil.
In a statement made on December 20th, the foundation announced that they will be hosting blockchain education seminars for Petrobras’ 45,000 workers. Also, the information from Cardano Academy would be made accessible via Petrobras University. Petrobras, the biggest Brazilian and South American enterprise, was founded in 1953 and had $124.7 billion in sales in 2022.

Also, there will be interactive quizzes and the program will cover a wide range of blockchain use cases and applications. Moreover, in preparation for the program’s debut, the Cardano Foundation held two Metaverse seminars focusing on blockchain regulations in Brazil and elsewhere.

Moreover, those who successfully complete the blockchain course will be awarded a certificate. Furthermore, special NFTs developed in tandem with the Petrobras Education Board will be distributed to the first 500 trainees. A digital tracker and exhibition of each participant’s specific accomplishments, the NFTs will dynamically update to represent their progress and milestones during the program.
