Boba Network Partners With Immunefi to Launch Bug Bounty Program

Blockchain News

Together with Immunefi, the leading bug bounty platform for blockchain, Boba Network will launch a bug bounty program. This is being done on its L2 instances, such as Boba ETH L2 (Ethereum), Bobabeam (Moonbeam), Boba AVAX L2 (Avalanche), and Boba BNB L2 in order to enhance current security and improve the development experience in the Boba Network ecosystem (BNB Chain).

Immunefi’s severity classification system (https://immunefi.com/immunefi-vulnerability-severity-classification-system-v2-2/) is used to classify threats.

The following topics will be covered by the bounty program: websites/apps, smart contracts, and blockchains/DLTs. Please see the Immunefi website at https://immunefi.com/ for regulations and assets in and out of scope.

Technical information:

  • Commencing date: 11.01.2023 at 1:00 PM (13:00) PST
  • Duration: ongoing (or until the bounty pool is depleted)
  • Total bounty pool: USD 1 000 000 (1 million)
  • Highest prize: up to USD 1 000 000 (1 million)

Reward claims:

All bug bounty hunters who submit a report and request a reward for critical or high danger levels must complete KYC, according to Boba Network. Proof of your identification is required as the information. The Boba Network team will be in charge of gathering this data.

Payouts:

The Boba Network staff directly handles payouts, which are denominated in USD. Payouts, however, are made in USDC.
