The Bitget Wallet – a leading Web3 trading solution by crypto exchange Bitget has unveiled a support and development initiative with a detailed roadmap aimed at the BTC ecosystem. The plan includes extensive investments, as well as research and development of new products with the purpose being an increase in overall user experience for more effective asset management.
The current version of Bitget Wallet already contains a host of services for catering to the Bitcoin ecosystem, which include cross-chain swaps, asset management, as well as EOA and MPC wallets with on-ramping options and Taproot compatibility. The wallet is also perfectly tailored for NFT and BRC-20 standard asset transfers through integration of the Bitget Swap feature for instant overviews of the Bitcoin ecosystem via the native Dapp browser built into the wallet.
“As the fundamental cornerstone of the Crypto industry, Bitcoin is not only seen as an undisputed benchmark of crypto value, but also represents the innovative spirit of the industry. Catalyzed by the introduction of the BRC-20 and Ordinals protocols, together with the imminent halving next year, the Bitcoin ecosystem is set to be a prominent player in shaping the overall trajectory of the Web3 world,” as Alvin Kan, Chief Operating Officer of Bitget Wallet, commented on the release.
Alvin also added that Bitget aims to become a key player in the Bitcoin ecosystem, emphasizing the sustained growth and recognition of the exchange among its users, which will allow even greater numbers of Bitcoin enthusiasts to rely on the extensive solutions Bitget provides.
The announced plan focuses on both long and medium-term development, based on the prospects of the Bitcoin ecosystem. Among the main reasons for the support is Bitget’s evaluation of the new technological developments that require additional investments, such as Nostr, BRC-20 and ARC-20 assets, the Lightning Network, and others, which will significantly enhance the performance of Bitcoin. Bitget Wallet will soon be introducing asset swaps as well to ensure a seamless transfer process across the Lightning Network via the Bitget Swap service.
Bitget’s flagship product has been in the focus of attention from multiple projects in recent months, attracting partnerships from such market players as Bitmap Explorer, ALEX Lab, Unisat, and others. The versatility of the wallet and its cross-chain compatibility were cited among the main reasons for such popularity, driving future traction.
