Bitget, the leading cryptocurrency exchange and Web3 company, proudly shared its social impact initiatives at the Harvard Blockchain Conference. Representing Bitget, COO Vugar Usi presented the company’s startup growth story and highlighted its commitment to nurturing the next generation of Web3 innovators through Blockchain4Youth and Blockchain4Her programs.
During a keynote session, Bitget was featured as a case study in venture building, outlining a strategic framework across three pillars—product development, marketing, and revenue models. The session provided practical insights for students, hackathon developers, and young entrepreneurs on navigating the Web3 startup landscape, structuring pitches, and accelerating project success.
Vugar also emphasized Bitget’s approach to bridging Web2 and Web3 ecosystems, spotlighting partnerships with global brands such as LaLiga and Lionel Messi’s “Make It Count” campaign, illustrating how strong collaborations can amplify a brand across traditional and decentralized platforms.
As part of Bitget’s broader commitment to fostering Web3 talent, Vugar introduced the Blockchain4Youth initiative, a $10 million program aimed at empowering young builders through university partnerships. With over 60 academic partners worldwide—including UCLA and Harvard—the initiative focuses on building transferable skills and supporting continuous learning in the blockchain space.
In a dedicated session with Women in Web3 and female conference participants, Vugar also promoted the Blockchain4Her program, Bitget’s initiative to fund and mentor women driving innovation across the industry.
Additionally, Vugar led a specialized workshop for students from Harvard’s Department of Quantitative Economics, using Bitget’s native token, $BGB, as a case study to explain tokenomics, pricing structures, and sustainable economic models in crypto.
Reflecting on the experience, Vugar Usi, COO of Bitget, shared: “Returning to my alma mater and addressing some of the brightest minds in the world is a true honor. Harvard represents the pinnacle of innovation and intellectual advancement. At Bitget, we believe that empowering top talent is vital for the future of Web3. Through initiatives like Blockchain4Youth, we are committed to equipping the next generation with the tools and knowledge to shape the decentralized future.”
Bitget remains committed to supporting innovation, education, and inclusivity across the global blockchain ecosystem, driving mass adoption and responsible growth in Web3.
