Binance, the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchange to launch a comprehensive blockchain education program across Kazakhstan. According to the recent announcement from the exchange, the platform has partnered with leading state organizations in Kazakhstan to provide blockchain education to 40,000 individuals by 2026.
Gleb Kostarev, Asia Regional Head at Binance stated:
We support Kazakhstan’s goal to become a leading player in digital technologies which would not be possible without increasing education and blockchain adoption around the country. Binance has always valued education, and Binance Academy is one of the largest learning hubs in the blockchain industry. Our partnership with Kazakhstan state organizations is another step in bringing accessible and standard-setting blockchain and crypto education to all.
To implement the new initiative, Binance has teamed up with the Research Lab ‘Blockchain Center’ created by the Center for the Development of Payment and Financial Technologies of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Astana Hub, the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Education of Kazakhstan.
Binance Expanding Crypto Education
Today, Mr. Madiev, Mr. Zhalenov, and Mr. Musin signed the Memorandum of Cooperation. As per the agreement, Binance will provide educational resources and assistance to establish and implement the fundamental educational program on the blockchain.
The new initiative is the outcome of an earlier meeting between Changpeng Zhao, CEO of Binance, and Mr. Tokaev, the president of Kazakhstan to implement blockchain and crypto education. Following this, the Research Lab ‘Blockchain Center’ was created by Kazakhstan’s official state organizations to drive the blockchain industry, and develop and implement education programs in the country.
Moreover, the AIFC Financial Services Authority (AFSA) of Kazakhstan granted Binance a permanent license in October to run a platform for digital assets and offer custody services at the Astana International Financial Center. The exchange now has the status of a regulated platform in the country due to the permanent license, which also validates Binance’s strong compliance and security measures.
