BitTorrent $BTT is now available for trading with a new token name as $BTTC on the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance.
Further, users can buy, trade, and withdraw $BTTC on Binance which starts on these dates:
- Start trading from: January 25th, 2022 at 04:00 UTC
- New Spot Trading Pairs: BTTC/USDT, BTTC/USDC and BTTC/TRY
Further, Binance will inform the users about the deposits and withdrawals dates of BTTC once the token swapping is over.
BitTorrent ($BTT) as $BTTC
Binance crypto exchange decided to render its support to BitTorrent (BTT) token renaming plans this year. As the BTT token will be open to trade with a new token name BTTC trading with a new set of trading pairs. More so, the Binance team is planning to open the trading process on 25th January 2022 at 4:00 UTC.
Therefore, by initiating this new plan, Binance suspended all BTT margin positions and canceled all pending BTT margin orders. Following, it also delists the old BTT token pairs namely, BTT/BUSD and BTT/USDT cross-margin trading pairs, as well as BTT/BUSD and BTT/USDT isolate margin trading pairs.
On 14th January 2022, 2:00 (UTC) Binance Futures department closed all BTT futures positions. And processed an automatic cancellation of all pending orders on BTT/USDT futures contract. Thereby delisting the process of Futures Contracts. In addition, Binance announced the suspension of BTT Flexible Savings subscription. And as an alternative option, it opens the way to redeem the subscription and deposit into the users spot trading wallets on the same day.
Moreover, users were informed that Deposits and withdrawals of BTT token will be suspended on 2022-01-17 02:00 (UTC). Thereby to delist and cancel all the existing BTT spot trading pairs.
Thus, with all these modifications, Binance will list the newly renamed $BTTC token replacing the accounts, deposits, withdrawals, trading pairs of the old BitTorrent $BTT token. After the migration process, the old BTT tokens will be renamed as BTTOLD, and the new tokens’ ticker will be BTTC.
