Over 12,000 Binance users participated, representing six continents: Asia, Australia, Europe, Africa, and Latin America. They discussed which industry leaders are having the most influence in the blockchain space.
We employed six open-ended questions that let participants freely select their top picks in order to maintain the results’ objectivity and fairness.
Voters who selected at least three category winners also had the opportunity to split a $15,000 prize pool, which added even more excitement to this community poll. As more and more replies continued to come in, the prize pool, which was initially worth $5,000, was increased.

Most Influential Crypto Personality
This category was created to highlight the people that have genuinely influenced the crypto world with their innovative thinking, leadership, and enduring effect.
The most significant figure in cryptocurrency, according to more than 30% of survey participants, is none other than Satoshi Nakamoto, the enigmatic creator of Bitcoin. The entire blockchain and cryptocurrency revolution were made possible by Nakamoto’s invention of Bitcoin, which cleared the path for decentralized financial systems.
The fact that Satoshi’s identity is unknown just adds to his allure. While several tried to create digital currencies in the past, they often faced setback from authorities. But Satoshi decided to remain behind a pseudonym, adding an extra layer of intrigue to their tale.
Most Influential Crypto Changemaker
This category highlights the trailblazers who have pushed the envelope and revolutionized the cryptocurrency industry.
A massive 38% of the community chose Changpeng Zhao (CZ), the co-founder and former CEO of Binance, as the most influential crypto changemaker. Many have emphasized CZ’s progressive approach to innovation, leadership, and fostering community trust, which has had a significant impact on the development of blockchain and Web3 technologies.
Other prominent figures in this category include U.S. President Donald Trump, Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and X (Twitter), and Vitalik Buterin, who received 12% of the vote for his work with Ethereum.
The Best Crypto Builder
The goal of this category is to honor the developers, entrepreneurs, and trailblazers who are creating the vital protocols and infrastructure that are revolutionizing the blockchain industry.
The results were one sided, with 42% of respondents recognizing Vitalik Buterin, the co-founder of Ethereum, as the best crypto builder. Crucially, Vitalik has shaped his creation into a “distributed world computer” and invented a new category of blockchain applications that depend on smart contract capabilities.
The Ethereum ecosystem has grown quickly over time, adding cutting-edge features and assisting millions of people worldwide in becoming more financially independent.
The Best Crypto Podcast
Crypto podcasts, which offer in-depth analysis of blockchain applications, industry trends, and expert insights, have emerged as a crucial resource for staying current on everything Web3.
With 38% of the voting, Anthony Pompliano’s show, The Pomp Podcast, came in first place. Anyone interested in cryptocurrency should listen to Pomp’s podcast and newsletter, which covers a broad variety of subjects from Bitcoin to business, money, and technology.
Unchained, which received 10% of the vote, came in second. Unchained is still a popular among the crypto community because of its thorough debates on the wider effects of crypto and its innovative advancements.
Bankless, a podcast that offers educational material to assist listeners in navigating the intricate world of cryptocurrency, comes in third. Bankless provides information for anyone who want to learn more about the cryptocurrency industry with an emphasis on decentralized finance (DeFi). Even while the show is still well-liked by the community, it has recently come under fire for its role in the creation of the Aiccelerate DAO token. In spite of this, it remains a well-known information source in the cryptocurrency industry.
Most Influential Women in Crypto
Given how crucial female executives and employees have been to Binance’s success, we wanted to honor the amazing work that these women have done in the cryptocurrency industry.
The community chose Elizabeth Stark, the CEO and co-founder of Lightning Labs, as the most significant woman in Web3 with 40% of the vote. The Lightning Network was introduced by Lightning Labs in 2018 with the intention of facilitating quicker and less expensive crypto transactions. Leading the way in Bitcoin layer-2 solutions, Stark promotes scalability while upholding the fundamental security and decentralization tenets of Bitcoin.
